The first event will be held at my favorite park in Cedar Park, Brushy Creek Lake Park! Bring your swimsuits, lots of sunblock & your picnic, the water playscape is a lot of fun!

Brushy Creek Lake Park is a 90-acre park that offers active and natural resource-based recreational opportunities. Facilities include: A Playground; water playscape; hike and bike trail; nature trail; exercise station; three pavilions; picnic tables and BBQ grills; sand volleyball court; canoe/kayak launch; fishing pier; wildlife observation area; labyrinth; restrooms; parking area; and a 38-acre lake that was constructed in 1965. Activities allowed on the lake include fishing, non-motorized boating and wildlife observation. Trolling motors are not permitted. Pavilions can be rented for parties and special events. The water playscape operates daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is open from April 26th through September 28, 2008.
