Introduction to KidSave
Dear Family and Friends:
Our family has hopes of hosting an orphan child from Colombia in our home for a 5-week period this summer through the Kidsave Summer Miracles program. The Kidsave Austin volunteers will be raising $45,000 to bring 10 children to Austin this summer. We are praying that each of these children will find permanent homes with loving families. In the past 7 years, Summer Miracles programs in Austin have placed 59 children and over 2000 children have found homes through Kidsave programs nationwide.
But we cannot do it alone, we need your help! There are several different ways that you can help ensure that these children find a loving home.
Millions of children worldwide are forgotten, growing up without families. They wait and wait for families, and no one ever comes. This is not OK!. Children need families or a connection with a stable adult to grow and thrive. The statistics are sobering: of those orphans, who are never adopted, one in three will become homeless after leaving the orphanage and one in five will end up in jail.
Your charitable contribution is 100% tax deductible, and 100% of your donation will stay in the Austin community to support Austin Summer Miracles 2008.
You may donate by check or credit card (see attached donor form).
If donating by check, please make your donations payable to Kidsave International with Austin Summer Miracles on the memo line.
You can also donate online by visiting Kidsave International’s website. If you use the online donation page, please indicate AUSTIN, TX in the “Designation” box on the donation form.
